December Ipsy Bag

Hello there!

It is time for the December Ipsy Bag! And it was a great bag this month. I have been loving this bag more and more each month I receive it.  Click here to go to the website. If you aren't aware of Ipsy, it is similar to Birchbox in that it is a $10 monthly subscription service.  Ipsy does more makeup products than Birchbox, which I love and they often give you full size products. So lets get right to what was in the bag!
First, how cute that the inside of this months bag is pink! I love cute little surprises like that.

First up in the bag is this NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Shadow in Mink Pearl.  This is a loose shadow, which can get quite messy, but it is a beautiful color, like a bronzy gold. It is very shimmery and would be so great for special occasions.
Retails for $3.00
Sample worth: $3.00

Next up is the Mirabella Prime for Face & Eyes.  I think everyone needs a primer and should use a primer, it really makes the difference in how long your makeup lasts and if it stays put.  This one is clear and has a bit of that silicone feel to it.  It says it is paraben-free which is great. It feels very silky when you put it on your skin.  It has a little bit of a smell, but not a bad one.
Retails for $29.00
Sample worth: $29.00

The next item in the bag is this be a...bombshell Lip Gloss in Hot Mess.  This is a true red color, but it looks like it has some orange undertones.  It has a little  of that plastic smell.  It is a very pretty color, especially for the holidays, so I will give it a go and see if it looks good on my skin tone.
Retails for $14.00
Sample worth: $14.00

I am very excited about the next product, which is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Zero.  I have this eyeliner from a set I bought over the summer and I love it.  It is a black pencil liner (seems to be more matte than Perversion), but it goes on so easily, no tugging at all and it lasts all day long.  I am very excited I have a back up now!
Retails for $19.00
Sample worth $9.50

Next up are these Mai Couture Highlighter Papers. These are pretty darn cool.  They look like a pack of blotting papers, but they are actually for highlighting.  You just tear a sheet out and rub it wherever you want a little highlight.
Retails for $28 for 50 sheets
Sample worth: $14.00

Lastly, they included a coupon for JUSTFAB which is another subscription service.  They have shoes, bags and other accessories.  The coupon code is to get your first item for only $20.  I have used a code like this before and got a pair of boots and I absolutely love them.  You have the option to skip the month if you don't want to buy anything or just don't have the money, just be sure to do it by the 4th or 5th of the month I think.  You can always cancel your subscription after you make your purchase.

Total bag worth: $69.50!

So that was the December Ipsy Bag.  This was such a great bag! I cannot wait to try out all of these products! Check out Ipsy if you haven't already, it is a really fun thing to get in the mail every month.

XOXO
Kristen
