Outfit of the day - Halloween!

Hello Ladies!
Happy Halloween! Quite possibly my favorite holiday of the year (besides maybe Christmas) is today!! I didn't exactly dress up today, I mean, I'm at work. But I did put together a more Halloween-y look for the day. I am wearing my skeleton earrings that I got from either Claire's or Target a few years ago and my sparkly lips ring that I bought at Target about a month ago.
I am wearing my orangey/coral Audrey Brooke flats that I bought from DSW in the spring and I am also wearing my black faux snakeskin skinny jeans that I just bought from Kohls this past weekend (Apt 9?) My top is also from my shopping trip to Kohls this past weekend. It is just a black chiffon flowy top from LC Lauren Conrad.

Did any of you dress up at work today? Comment with a picture if you did!

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Review *UPDATED WITH BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS*

Hello Ladies!

So I picked up a the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation about a week ago now.  I was in desperate need for a new foundation because I had squeezed every last drop out of my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation.  Now I absolutely LOVE my Chanel foundation, but I wanted to try something new (so that I could review it for you guys) and I also wanted something with a bit more coverage for the colder months.

Scent of the moment

Hello Ladies!

So I ordered some candles online from Bath & Body Works and they came in the mail today! So I started burning the Cinnamon Sugared Donut candle and it smells AH-MA-ZING!  I cannot even begin to describe how delicious this candle smells.

The candle is described as followed: Share the delight with a homemade vanilla cake donut covered in sugar crystals and crushed cinnamon.

It reminds me of having french toast at my grandmas house. Grandpa cooking the most amazing french toast there will ever be and good talk around the table.  Oh, memories.  I just checked the website and this one is on sale right now for $9.75.  So hurry if you want one of these, they won't be around much longer! Click here to get the cinnamon sugared donut candle!

Nail of the day

Hey girls!

So I picked up a new nail polish this weekend, one that I have been wanting since it came out a month or so ago, Ever Day Is Octoberfest by OPI.

It is such a gorgeous color, especially for fall. It comes out quite a bit more purple than it looks in the bottle. It has a pretty reddish tiny with fine red sparkles. It is opaque in one coat but I put on two to be safe and get a nice even color. It is very glossy. I did have to wipe off a ton of the polish from the brush to make sure I didn't end up painting my entire finger.

All in all, I love this color. It is so gorgeous on and is so perfect for the time of year.

October Ipsy Bag!

Hello again!  I don't know if you all have heard of Ipsy, formerly MyGlam, but it is very similar to Birchbox as it is a subscription service that is $10 a month and you get a little bag of 4-5 makeup, skincare or haircare products.  This month was pretty darn good.

Keep reading to check out the items in Octobers bag.

October Birchbox!

Hello ladies!

So I received my October Birchbox arrived this week.  A few weeks ago they e-mailed me and asked me if I wanted to get the Goop Birchbox or the regular.  I decided to go with the Goop, because if I recall, when they offered the Teen Vogue box, it was amazing! (I didn't get that one because it was my very first month)  Unfortunately, this box was pretty far from amazing.  I do think this is my least favorite box since I joined in March. But anyway, here is what came in the box!

Nail Polish Storage

Hey Girls!

So one day, after looking around on Pintrest (which is awesome if you haven't been on there yet!) and found a really cute idea for storing my nail polish.  Now I don't have a ton of nail polish. I have never really been one to paint my own nails because I was completely terrible at it.  But in the past 6 or so months, I have taught myself how to do a good job at painting my nails.  So I there in turn, have been painting my nails more often. I have found that if you sit down at a table with really good lighting and really take your time to apply the polish, you can do just as good of a job as when you get a manicure.  It may not last as long, but its a whole lot cheaper! So anyway, back to the point, here is a picture of how I am currently storing my nail polish.

I bought this apothecary jar from Michaels (with a 40% off coupon of course!).  I think this just showcases all of the beautiful colors that you might have and gives it a really girly feel.   A good idea if you have a ton of polishes would be to just showcase the colors that you might be wearing this season. I tried to put my deeper berry's and reds and golds towards the front so that is what you would mostly see.  The base was a little short, so I stacked it on top of a couple books to give it some height.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey girls!

Today I am going to be doing the I ♥ Fall tag that has been going around lately (mostly on youtube).  I absolutely love fall.  It is my favorite time of the year, so when I saw this tag, I knew I had to put it on my blog.  So, here we go!

Scent I am loving

I am sure everyone has heard of the ever famous Leaves candle from Bath & Body Works.  Well, this is what I am just LOVING at the moment.  It just gives off the most delicious scent that fills my entire house. The description of this scent is : Like an afternoon spent playing in a pile of freshly fallen leaves, this fragrance embodies all the richness of the season and features a medley of ripe delicious apples, red berries and golden nectar. It smells very much like cinnamon and berries, so yummy.

If you haven't already smelled this candle, the next time you happen into a Bath & Body Works, make sure you give this one a sniff, your nose will not be disappointed.
