February Ipsy Bag

Hello there!

It is time again for the monthly Ipsy bag reveal! This months theme was Get Red Carpet Ready. This is a pretty good bag, not crazy awesome, but good.  So lets get to it! (I will also be including promo codes you can use if you decide to purchase any of these products)

So, the first item I pulled out of the bag is Lash Card.  I have heard about these, they are little cards that you hold against your eyelid as you put mascara on and it prevents you from getting mascara all over your just done eyeshadow.  I'm not sure if I will want to take the time to do this every time I put mascara on, especially since I don't really have a problem with getting mascara all over my eyelids.  But still a cool idea.  Maybe I'll give them to one of my friends.
Retails for $6.99 for 10 individually wrapped cards
Sample worth $6.99

Next up in the bag is the Pop Beauty Smoky Lash Kapow!!! in Smoky Black. I always love to try new mascaras, so I am definitely looking forward to trying this out.  It has natural bristles, which I love.
Retails for  $18.50
Sample worth around $9.25

Next up we have the Mica Beauty Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner.  Who doesn't need another gel eyeliner? I don't use gel or liquid very often, but I do enjoy using them on occasion.
Retails for  $35.00
Sample worth around  $17.50

Next up, the Pixi Flawless & Poreless primer.  I was pretty excited about this as I am always in need of a primer and not too picky about them.  This one feels nice on the skin but has a very plastic-y smell that is very strong and not nice.  I don't know if I can get over how strong the smell is to actually use this anymore than I already have.  Other than the smell it went on nicely, was translucent and seemed to do the job.
Retails for $29.00
Sample worth $14.50

And lastly, we have a mini quad of eye shadows from Coastal Scents. I have a couple palettes from them and they are quite nice.  I do like these colors and will probably get some use out of them. They don't sell these quads on the site, but their palettes are pretty inexpensive and good quality.  If you are in the market for eye shadows in lots of colors I would definitely check them out.
Sample worth around $2.96

So there you have it, the February Ipsy bag! It was a pretty good bag and there are definitely some products I am really excited to try out. So, until next time!
