Today, I bring to you a beauty haul! I like to call it a fall beauty haul, because, well, it's fall. That makes sense right? I have done quite a bit of shopping over the past few weeks and I decided that I should share it with all of you!
Up first...
Maybelline The Rocket Mascara
I have really been enjoying this for the past few days, much to my surprise! I normally don't like Maybelline mascaras or rubber bristle brushes, but this one grips your lashes to really get a good black coat on them. It really seems to do a good job and volumizing and lengthening.
Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush-Nude
I really love the shade Light Bronze in this line and so I thought I would pick up another shade. I picked Nude, one, because they didn't have the Pink Rose shade and two, because it looked like a nice neutral shade that would go with every type of makeup look, especially the ever so popular 90's lip color. So far, I am really loving this.
Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil Duo
I have been really interested to try these out and got really excited when I saw that they had a mini duo set at Sephora! You get the shades Timeless Coral and Everlasting Honey. I have only tested these out a couple of times, but so far, I really do like them. They are very creamy and give a beautiful sheen to the cheek.
MAC Lip Pencil - Whirl
I, like a lot of beauty lovers, have been on the hunt for that perfect 90's lip color. I heard from several sources that MACs Whirl is the lip pencil that Kylie Jenner uses, so I wanted to go and check it out. I really love this shade and it is a great 90's lip color option.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics
I have been wanting to get this ever since I heard it was coming out. I love the original Naked Basics, so this seemed right up my ally. This one is a bit more cool toned than the original, which I think is nice for the fall and winter time. I love to use this for everyday looks and you can even deepen it up for a night out with the shade Undone. Definite winner in my book.
Mally Beauty Finish Line Professional Luminizer - Heavenly
I picked this up at Ulta the other week because it was 40% off and I had never tried anything from Mally. To be honest, I have better highlighters. I will definitely still use this, but it is not my favorite.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
I picked up two of these when they were a Beauty Steal last month. I have loved this mascara for a couple of years. I think it is really good volumizing and really getting to the root of the lash. This is my favorite type of brush on a mascara wand.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear Liner
I was extremely disappointed in this when I first got it. The tip was very stiff and hard to work with and the product seemed to fade after a while. However, after playing with it for the past week, it has grown on me a bit. While the tip is definitely stiff, I just have to pull a little at the corner of my eye to get a really nice black smooth line that doesn't fade. While it does work fairly well, I will not be purchasing this again. I prefer a brush tip that is more flexible.
Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara
I got this little guy as a free gift with purchase and I am loving it!!! It is just as good as the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, if not better. Again, it is my favorite kind of brush! It is very volumizing. I will definitely be wanting a full size of this when I finish this mini.
The Body Shop Shea Hand Cream
I picked this up because I was in need of a new hand cream for my purse and this was new at my Ulta. So far, so good. A hand cream is a hand cream.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
I had to pick up another one of these, as I had run out of my last bottle. I like to use this for special occasions, or days when I know I am going to be going out late that night. It really does keep your makeup in place all night.
Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee - Pink Escape
Again, the Sephora travel size sections sucked me in! I have been curious about these cheek gelees and saw they had a mini, and well, the rest is history. I really like it. It has a similar texture to the creamy oils, but just in a different form. Great color payoff and lasting power.
NYX Soft Matter Lip Cream - Stockholm & Cannes
I picked these two up, Cannes on the recommendation of ShadesOfKassie on YouTube, for that 90's throwback brown/mauve lip color. I really like them both. Stockholm is a little lighter, pinker and more wearable for everyday. Cannes is a bit darker and more mauve.
NYX Butter Lipstick - Pops
Again, a ShadesOfKassie recommendation. This is a good shade that is in between the two matte colors. This one does have that shine of the butter lipsticks though, which is not my favorite when it comes to this trend, but I do really like the color.
Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Lipstick - Daringly Nude & Touch of Spice
When I heard that Maybelline had a matte lipstick line out, I was officially on the hunt! I had to get my hands on these, especially these two shades. Daringly Nude is that perfect everyday matte nude that goes with everything. Touch of Spice (which took me forever to find!) is that deeper, more mauve 90's lip color. I have really been loving Touch of Spice for nights that I am going out.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick - Totally Toffee
When I couldn't find Touch of Spice in the Matte collection, I resorted to getting Totally Toffee from their regular line. I haven't worn it as much, but the color is really pretty for fall.
Big Sexy Hair - Spray & Play Harder Hairspray
This was on sale at Ulta last week for $9.99 and I just couldn't pass the deal up. I love this hairspray, it gives great volume and hold and it lasts forever!
Have you tried out any of these products? If so, what do you think of them?
XOXO
Kristen
