October Favorites!

Hello everyone!

Can you believe that October is almost over?! Gah, I am not ready for November, I am still trying to enjoy all that Fall has to offer.  November signals winter to me and I am so not ready for winter (even though it pretty much feels like winter here)   :(   

Any who, October has been a great month and there are still a few days left.  I really enjoyed going on the haunted hayride, apple picking, eating donuts and drinking cider.  I have also made a pretty big change that is my number one favorite of the month...

Today, we are going through my trash.  Oh boy!  I realized that my bag of empties was pretty darn full and I don't think I've done one of these in a couple months.  Who doesn't love to see what we've used up and hear what we thought about it?

Favorite Fall Nail Polishes

Hello lovelies!

I am back today with another fall post, this one on my favorite fall nail polishes. I was never really great at painting my nails until I sat down one day and really took my time and concentrated on painting them and found that I could do a pretty darn good job!  Since then, I've loved painting my nails and with that comes the obsession to constantly buy new colors.  Fall is my favorite time of the year for pretty much everything, included nail polish colors.  Now, these are just my favorite.  There is no rule that you have to wear darker nail polish in the fall, but it seems to be popular and on trend, so if you still want to rock neon, do it girl!

October Birchbox

I'm back today with my October Birchbox! If you have read my last few posts about Birchbox, you know that I haven't been incredibly happy with them, but I do think that this months and last months were fairly good.  Hooray for Birchbox getting better! 

This months theme is Beauty Buzz.  It's all about products that are popular and get a lot of press from celebrities and magazines and such.  They have also started including a "beauty find" in all of the boxes.  You will receive it in a cute little baggie and they say it doesn't replace on of your usual samples.

October POPSUGAR Box (AWESOME box!)

Hello there!

I just had to start on this blog today.  When I got home from work today, I saw my POPSUGAR box waiting for me on my front patio! Let's just say I pretty much squeal every time I get one of these boxes.  I get so excited to see what they have sent us.  

This month they did not disappoint.  This is one of my most favorite boxes I have gotten (along with the box that had the beauty blender and the scarf!) They packed so many awesome goodies into this month I just had to get this up right away so I can start using everything and I have a feeling some of these may be in this months favorites blog.

September Favorites

Well, hello again,

I feel like I have finally been given a break in my life.  Things have settled down at home, the kitty is doing well, our guests have gone home and now I can really start cranking out blog posts that I have really been wanting to put up.  

Todays post, if you couldn't tell by the title, is my September Favorites.  I don't know about you, but I almost feel like September never even happened.  It's like I blinked and it was October.  But, with October, comes all things I love about living in a place where Autumn is prevalent.   I love the changing of the leaves, pumpkins, cooler weather, spicier scents, hayrides, donuts, cider, sweaters, darker lip colors and of course, Halloween.
